You’ll see it referred to as Joe’s Pizza & Subs and as Joe’s Italian Restaurant, but it’s all the same place. This long-time institution has changed hands and expanded the menu, but one constant is great: the pizza. Hooked customers keep coming back, if only for takeout, since the dining room is somewhat lacking in charm. The full Italian menu gets mixed reviews, with highlights being the chicken marsala and the seafood combo. Classic steak and cheese is still among the most popular subs. The bar area is separated, and Joe’s is a convenient place for an affordable, relaxed night out.
